What about the grinders?

What can we learn from the tour grinders?

I think we mid handicappers could learn a bunch from those players short on natural talent but long on desire and grit. Tom Kite comes to mind only cuz what I've heard and read about him. How did he learn to play tour golf through tireless practice? He must have practiced the right stuff.

I'd say Pavin would be the one who gets the most out of his talent . . .
