Brian: Right wrist bend at impact?

Brian: I notice that a lot of the great ball strikers eg Traveno and Hogan have a very pronounced amount of right wrist bend at impact as illustrated in your logo. It would seem to me that if you have this degree of right wrist bend the probability of throwaway and losing lag pressure is reduced and you are more likely to take the strike down to the low point sustaining the line of compression rather than come out of the shot. I have been working on this recently in the garden hitting into a net and making sure the degree of wrist bend is maintained until both arms straight and have noticed way more compression . I would like your assurance that I am working on the right lines. I have also started to hit the odd shank while working on this . What are your thoughts on the subject?
