Brian, what are Sergio and Quiros doing here?

Brian, from hip high on the downswing through impact Quiros (first video, last swing) and Sergio (second video) make a move through the ball that looks all pivot. Is this a visual snapping of the chain or some other such kinetic sequencing?

Quiros hits it a ton and Sergio hit carried a 4 iron something like 240 so maybe there's something there?

Thanks,

Slow motion video of a powerful swing is excellent visual proof of the snapping of the kinetic chain.

For a few frames from hip high to impact, a players hips will actually remain almost still while the hands, arms, and shoulders continue to move.

This is a slow motion in your face example of "walloping the ball with your pivot"
