I think the outside is crucial. If you have your hands too much on the inside with this swing, it will not work. Unless you swing massive to the right
Outside takeaways aren't bad if you like to play a fade or drop it under on the downswing. I was just saying that some have expressed to me that getting that back swing without a outside takeaway is impossible which it isn't.Jim,

In correct, it's all in the hand path. You can go in and then go sharply up and still be fine.
