I have a feeling Bubba gave up pretty much yesterday and now he's just having "fun." Seems to not have a care in the world and is just putting on a show for the fans with that pink driver.

Nope, he's simply too weak to play such demanding setups. Lame excuses do not help to retain a false image of being a great ballstriker. Neither does pink driver ROFL.
He'll be looking great tomorrow outside ropes with orange Fowler watching true golfers play.

Cheers

They can play video games all day and do each other's hair.

You two would have loved barracking Nicklaus as "Fat Jack" when he first hit the tour.

God save us from pink drivers, orange clothes and video games. And of course morons.

He can be fatter than Kevin Stadler and me combined and I would not care if only he can play true golf. I care only about ballstriking. Think before you write something.

And BTW, I agree in one point with you -- God save us from morons.

Cheers

If only that were true. You brought up the issue of Bubba's "pink driver ROFL" and "orange Fowler" yourself. That's a funny way of showing your disinterest.

By the way, I'd be interested in your thoughts about the player who apparently complained about the "purely defensive golf course where the player has to aim only for the heart of fairways and greens, rather than strategically attack pins the way an Open ought to be won"

It is true. And I am entitled to have my own preferences as regards colours. Should I be afraid to express publicly my disdain for pink colours, especially when used by men ? Do the gay lobby go that far ? ROFL.

Do not know who said this but apparently he was able to hit fairways and greens. Noone withraws anyone from attacking pins. The true difficulty is to place a tee shot the way one needs to attack pins. Only true masters could do it.

Like who? Besides Hogan.

Was there a player in the field that gave the appearance that he'd rather be home changing diapers more than Bubba? His pressers have become difficult to watch (when did he start trying to be so un-funny?) and if you suffered through the one he did earlier in the week it sounds like his agent "told" him he needed to play in this little event. He needs to take a few more months off imo. I didn't see the final board from today but did the 14 y/o beat him?

Nice pairing by the USGA on the Woods/Phil/Bubba group. Even on TV it oozed of ZERO chemistry.

Looking at Furyk and Toms position it would seem that this is not a course that eliminates the short hitter, what I don't understand about Long hitters (Except Tiger) Is why many seem to do poorly with this type of course ( Bubba, Phil, Dustin, etc). I seems to me that distance is always an advantage. If they can't hit their drivers, they have an advantage in being able to hit a more lofted club (3 wood, Hybrid) to get it in play. Then if they have the same distance into the green, the longer hitter gets to hit less club. It seems to me the true greats ( Nicklaus, Woods) still win on these types of setups. The Bubba's and Dustin's with one dimensional games, loose their advantage and can't compete. I don't have stats, but I would bet that Bubba and Phil, hit driver more times today than Tiger. I've already stated that I think Bubba is a moron, but why can't Phil figure out how to hit a shot 260 in the fairway?

I think Johnny Miller said this course sets up more for people who hit a fade. But you would have to be right handed as well. Whether that's a true argument, I don't know. But have a look at the leaderboard. Who plays a stock draw?
