Calling all Canucks...Nick Taylor or Matt Hill?

Who will be the next Great White North Hope???
...one a Jack Nicklaus award winner (Hill) and the other a Hogan award winner (Taylor).

Any thoughts or inside knowledge?

I have never seen Matt Hill play in person, but I have seen Nick Taylor play live (Watched him win the Canadian Amateur).

Taylor had a great short game and was a clutch putter in this event. At the time, he wasn't overly long, but very accurate. Given what we are seeing on tour now, he may have to gain some yardage in order to compete week in and week out.

Interestingly enough, Taylor isn't even the highest ranked Canadian Amateur right now. That title belongs to Eugene Wong.

My buddy, Ralph Bauer, coaches Hill. So I'm going with Hill!

Frankly, I'm just thrilled that Canada is producing some talent. They have finally organized themselves. Henry Brunton has done some great things up there as well as the provincial feeder programs.

Hopefully this is the kickstart he needs to fulfill all that potential.
