Can a tall player get on the elbow plane?

Can a taller player, which I am, get down to that level? Seems you'd have to be bent over fairly far. Are there any benefits to it? Seems a more around than up/down swing.

Yes, several tall players have been able to get on the elbow plane. The benefit that i like about the eblow plane is you get the clubshaft and the right forearm on plane much sooner in the downswing than with a TSP downswing.

But will that necessarily make you hit it better? No. Just remember what brian always says, if you don't naturally tend to swing on the eblow plane then don't. Don't learn to shift just to "shift."

It will ruin your game.

Good job, Jimmy...

Okay. Thanks Jim. I won't change. ;)

LiffOff,

He is right, of course.

I just don't make plane shift happen in a lesson unless, I feel like someone WAS a double-shifter and got that taken away.

Like Butch did to Tiger and then Hank got him back on a Double-Shift.
