Can the right hand control the clubface?

Lately I've been spending a lot of time practicing but I'm struggling with something. To quote a gentleman who goes by the name of Yoda...

The Left Hand controlling the Clubface;

The Right Hand controlling the Clubhead; and

The Right Forefinger and Forearm controlling the Clubshaft.

From the Address...to the Top...to the Finish.

Seems simple enough. Problem for me is that I'm a hitter and I try to control both the clubface and clubhead with the right hand. It seems that when I start to involve the left hand my two hands almost start fighting each other and I have difficulty with closing the clubface. So my question is does the left hand have to control the clubface. It seems to me that if I keep the right wrist bent, the left wrist will automatically be placed in a flat position. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The 'feel' of the right hand controling the clubface is very good for putting and short chips, not so great for full swing. Try focusing more on the hands feeling 'unified', as if they were wrapped lightly with an ace bandage once 'set' in the backswing - quiet hands act as a unit.

I think I'm struggling with the idea of driving with the right forearm, but steering with the left. I have been using the right hand to also control club face, bend the right wrist more and I close the face, bend the right wrist less and the face will open. Apparently, this is not a preferred method though...

As Hogan said.... "trying to control the clubface through impact is a folly" - no steering, smooth motion, even with hitting there is 'swivel', let the 'unit' of your hands swivel in a smooth motion, you shouldn't be trying to 'hold' the clubface to the target at all, only to hold the angle in the right wrist as it rotates through impact - too much bend in the right wrist and you will not have a flat left, and you will hood the clubface, low, left shots/pulls are the usual result

TGM mentions "Swivel" in 4-D-0, paragraph 2. It is the same as "Roll", which swingers with standard wrist action do from release to impact. It also says that both hitters and swingers must swivel from Followthrough to Finish. The word "rotate" is used here instead of "Roll".

that's what I thought, however, I thought hitters did not employ roll or swivel in their swing. I'm probably mistaken..

Hitters don't turn the wrist on the backswing, which means that they don't roll from release to impact. But Homer says they do swivel(roll) from Followthrough to Finish.
