Does the Chicken Wing make it impossible to get the clubface closed ?

zach johnson keeps his left elbow much higher than his right well into his through swing, and his shape is a draw/hook

yes, because the chickewing is just like a flip...it's something you do because you don't have enough control of the face.

Lee Westwood doesn't have enough control of the clubface?..............

Lee's 'wing and imo Goosen's too is their way to avoid the face from doing something it isn't supposed to do, FOR THEM.

They are world class players and have "made it work" for them. You can't apply a couple guys on tour to the average golfer. In most cases, "normal" players chickenwing or flip or numerous other things because they are avoiding something from happening that they don't want to happen
