interesting topic. its difficult to judge what is a too steep transition and what is not. nicklaus at the top has what would be considered steep hands that are close to his head at the top. but he then shallows the sweetspot during transition. john daly also has hands close to the back of his head and shallows the sweetspot alot less. then you have garcia and mcilroy who both have deep hands and shallow the sweetspot alot during transition. to cut a long story short if you look at nicklaus and dalys hand path and sweetspot path and compare them with garcia and mcilroy there would be a big difference, so its hard to figure out whats considered too steep and what is not. would last parallel be a better indication of whats considered in the slot, because of how different players get from the top to last parallel
