It's me, Paul, of "Cliff and Paul from NY" fame:0 Hope you are well. Just thought I'd let you know that I have made it to the final round of our Club Championship (OK, so we're talking "B" level, but hey for me, that's HUGE).

Just wanted to say a: thanks for getting me to the next level and b: any thoughts out there on tips for a guy that sometimes chokes in the face of competition. Regards, Paul

If you are happy with "getting" into the finals, then be satisfied with that achievement, feel like the winner you are (remember you DIDN'T choke to get there) and play with "house money." You can't lose if nothing was invested. Be the one golfer then already 'won' and have fun. Just might carry that attitude to the top.

You've built a machine, machines don't have feelings or fears, machines just do what you tell them to. TRUST THE MACHINE!!!

Too late now PJH, but after I suggest you do a search on posts by Keygolf, will help you with your mental preperation in future.

Unfortunately, I bombed...I was one under after 3 holes, had him 3 up and then took my foot off the accelerator, went into 18 all even, then chunked a pitch at a pretty critical moment...YUK!...I could REALLY use a pitching/chipping refresher...this is KILLIN me!
