Clubface Vertical to the Ground

I just stumbled on Brian's video on Mid-Body Hands. In it he uses a descriptive phrase I have heard him use before. The phrase is "Clubface vertical to the ground."

Frankly, I need further explanation. I am having trouble picturing what vertical to the ground means.

I think he's talking about the leading edge of the club head being perpendicular to the ground.

If I remember correctly from building blocks this is "impact hands" or exactly what ggsjpc said; the scoring lines on the clubface pointing straight up into the air. (toe up)
