Compression Board

First time I saw this was Martin Hall and his small sheet of plywood with a rectangular cut out. I never built one, because I don't have the problem, but would think training aides like the ones mentioned would benefit most golfers who hit the ball before the ground. Problem is those same golfers for the most part don't want to do the work.

I agree, it's good for golfers who don't hit the little ball before the big ball. That said, I don't see how it helps a player that already makes ball turf contact, especially set at the pro level towards the rear of the board. After a week my AoA would be so steep I'd have to take a lesson with Trackman to get it fixed. I think there a too many variables in divots to be helpful enough, for me anyway. The left side of the range is hard, it's in the sun all day. The right side is in shade for about half of the day because there are some trees around so it's a bit softer and the grass is more lush. You can't always hit from the same surface.

Don't mean to bash, seems like a decent product. FWIW.

You are correct in that it definitely helps those who struggle with hitting the ground to early. Hopefully it helps them to recognize their contact better, and train with a purpose. For those players that are already good ball-strikers, it can help with aiming and alignment for a HSP Reference line.

Our goal first and foremost is to help people train better, and to make contact with the ball first more consistently.
