I watched several swings from the US OPen on TiVo and wow....
That's no way to swing a club.
He was better in 2000, but ONLY because of two things:
1. He didn't try to hit every shot 100%
2. He still had enough of his 1997 swing to "work against" the Harmon feel.
For the 100th time, he needs to:
1. Slightly stronger grip
2. More in hand path going back.
3. Vanilla Hunter Mahan/ Jack Nicklaus style finish

How good do you think he could have become if he had kept the 97 swing but swung at say 80% instead of flat out all the time?
