Deep rough

Any of you lag the clubhead to the inside aft-quadrant of the ball even out of deep rough?

I get better results with a deliberate PULL shot from over the top.

It feels like a deliberate pull shot but it is really a closed plane line so the inside aft quadrant is simply in a different location in relation to the square plane line.

That doesn't make any sense to me. Sorry. Can you explain it different?

I don't understand how if i line up square (in the rough), and use a deliberate OTT move and angle hinge it how i'm changing my plane line.

A pull OTT swing will move the plane line left (zone 2) and the angled hinge or half roll will add cut spin to the clubface control (zone 3). Hope this helps clear the fog!

I understand that, however...how does the shifting the plane line LEFT mean it's "closed."
