I understand hovering and trigger delay (lag) are different things. As I understand it, hovering is the result of the lower body leading the upper body, shoulders, arms, hands and clubface on the downswing and creating a hover effect. It's just an athletic swing. Like a QB or pitcher.
Lag is trigger delay- delaying the "release" and having the action of the club "catching up".
When I hover, it FEELS like trigger delay. Can someone explain this and the difference in how they feel?
