corky....i'm not sure anymore, i just didn't know if a divot pointing left towards the end was a bad thing. I'll give brian a call and maybe he can shed some light on this.
Also, as i have been playing with the lasers some more i have found that i wasn't really "off-plane" like i thought because the laser points outside the left part of the shaft about 2 inches or so and i was only off my plane line by about 4-6" on the backswing so i don't think it is much of an issue.
I haven't hit balls in a while but i'm going to try and go somewhere in between what i have been doing and what i was doing and see what happens.
