OK, below is my dad's golf swing, followed by a fascinating three-minute analysis of Trump's golf swing by Hank Haney:

My dad:

Donald Trump Swing Analysis:

My dad's predominate ballflight is weak slices that he starts way to the left. For TWO YEARS he has been trying unsuccessfully to get the clubhead and left arm higher on the backswing. It's just never gonna happen! So isn't Trump's hip loading the only feasible way my dad can possibly hit powerful golf shots with the inside takeaway that he has? Is there any other conceivable way? I sure don't see it. As Haney says, "When you take it as far inside as [Trump] does, that needs to be the key to your game." What do y'all think? Is there any other conceivable way?

You might want to think about why you are posting links to other instructors websites on Brian's site. Kind of like promoting Burger King on MacDonalds website.

Yeah, whats up with that?

Your dad has a pretty healthy reverse tumble going. The more he clears the more the shaft will back up open.

Wonder what Trump's Trackman figures look like. I'm pretty sure he can afford one;). If they're good it just goes to show that conventional instruction is a whole load BS for those with natural ability. Noone I've ever known would regard that as a good swing, and every Pro I've ever known would have told him to change it big time.

Sorry guys. I just had the Golf Channel on in the background, saw the analysis of Trump's swing, and a lightbulb went off in my head. Kevin, thanks for your thoughts anyway. Extremely helpful for my dad, who's been struggling with his inside takeaway for so long.

From the TM numbers I have personally seen, they are very consistent...

Face Angle - "Beautiful face angle, Mr. Trump"
Club Path - "Perfect club path, Mr. Trump"
Ball Speed - "Tour ball speed, Mr. Trump"
Etc, etc...

Where do you think they got the inspiration for the orange color on the LM?

I think there's a difference between promoting another site and seeing another pro's thoughts and analyzing how a Manzella instructor might handle the same player.

You don't really know how bad a fried hamburger is until you taste flame broiled!

Beautiful post, Mr Granato;)

No way he would actually purchase one, he would change the name to Trumpman and have some sucker give him a million dollars for it.

:)

If he hears Pine Valley has one, he'll run out and buy two. Or buy the company and claim that Pine Valley uses his technology.
