even if i pretend if there was a planeboard.

I feel like my club opens a bunch and i have to flip it compensate it. Even if i try to swing left.

pulls and hooks

i know it looks upright but if ihave my hands anywhere lower, definitely a push to the right and fat shot. I feel like my elbow gets stuck behind my body. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with my right shoulder because i tried to lift it up with my right shoulder. Any help will be great thanks

Are you sure you are coming way from the inside? If anything, you look OTT to me, although it's a bit dark and quick to be sure.

Take a look at Brian's Survey thread on setup tilting right. Now look at your face on video. You have virtually no axis tilt to the right. Now watch your swing. At impact, your hips and swing center aligned vertically, not angled back to the right. Look at Brian's recent photo spread for Driver hitting up, level, down.

So you have no slot to swing through. Look at your down the line video. Clearly your path is steep and outside - in.

Nice athleticism, so no reason you can't fix this.

Way to up and down, to steep and clubface wide open. To cure the fat shot/push shot you have mistakenly gone to an extremely upright swing, when you probably needed to fix an opened clubface first.
That upright swing now combined with the opened clubface has made things worse.

These guys know what they're talking about. My suggestion is to fix the club face, learn a more middle of the matrix swing. Then, you can move whichever way you want with only minimal swing changes because you have control over the club face.

Perhaps i'm not explaining this well enough. I can swing inside out, but the club is super laid off on the downswing. So i have to carry the club to the wall infront of me and then swing. I tried to swing under the stick...it was either push or hooks. not sure how I would fix the laid off downswing

this is an 9 iron, do I need that much axis tilt?

oh yeah...the more axis tilt that I have the more that my club opens up...don't know anymore haha. I think it's a good time to switch back to my dj hobbies.

Have you tried to have a less opened face and swing left, waaayyy left?

It's funny that you mention this. I tried to have less opened face, sort of like SD backswing, and swing left by throwing off the drunk with my left shoulder. It felt really good.

Finally understood what right elbow higher than the left on the take away. I tried to do the SD backswing again, only this time I'm actually using my body and turning my right shoulder as far as away from the ball. Had great success. My problem before were just lifting arms, manipulating the club into the position I want. Using alot of wrist cock to get into the position I want. My hands are also not as high anymore and the club face is just on plane. I did not have success with SD before because I never really turned my shoulder, mostly just lifting the arms. I'll post a video again. Took long enough to figure it out. Just practicing and practicing.
