Draw with angle hinge

I watched the Manzella shorts video with Brian's demo of the three ways to hinge. I have been practicing all three and find that when I angle hinge, the ball starts pretty much on my target line, goes higher and cuts some. The impact is very solid and feels good. When I use horizontal hinging, I usually draw the ball or hit it straight. I am sure that my version of angle hinging must be producing a more open face at impact/separation. Is it possible/desirable to hit a draw with angle hinging? If so, thoughts on a feeling that might help me do it? Thanks.

My understanding is that the angled hinging effect on the ball is usually a fade, all things being equal. But I've had some success drawing the ball this way using a different pivot instead of a fuller swivel. Flatter, deeper shoulders with more axis tilt bends the plane line to the right and allows the inside path to spin the ball right to left without the feel of the face closing as much.

Clubface through the ball and "side" SPIN.

Virginia, there are no hinges mounted in the left shoulder.

Thank God.

Anyhoo, the clubface can be closing, staying pretty much as is, or opening from release point to the follow-through.

I know "hinge action" supposedly takes place from impact to separation, but actually doing that on purpose, and controlling it, is as pie in the sky as any idea in golf history.

For now, let's deal with reality. And from release point to the follow-through is practical.

No matter what type of CLUBFACE MOTION you make through the ball, when the ball leaves the face, the clubface is pointing somewhere.

So, if the PATH of the clubhead is to the RIGHT of where this clubface is pointing at separation, the ball will curve left!

Regardless of "Hinge Action," regardless of Clubface Motion.

Regardless of grip, how much force across the shaft, along the shaft, or any other factor.

Unless.....oh yeah........if the clubs are 8° too flat....:D ;)
