From the stills, it looks like Dustin is really sitting into his backswing and going even lower at the start of his downswing .... then he launches himself upwards into impact ... which ensures his hands coupling point is rising with max parametric and centripetal acceleration through impact ... ya think??!!!

Here's some photos that really illustrate that, Steve: https://picasaweb.google.com/Lukman...CIui4ri39NTBRg#slideshow/5679087347763046434]

It's something even Tiger would study: https://picasaweb.google.com/Lukman...gCODW3uCQmcLYbg#slideshow/5679088397212524162

These are pretty cool

Would it be fair to say that because his hula hoop is so far into the ground, then yanked out, he gets some pretty severe forward lean on the shaft, leading to that extreme bowing of the wrist just to square the face?

I don't think the jump-twist move that he employs necessarily causes him to have more forward lean. I'm sure he was able to work it out for himself that if he were to have a lot of forward lean to deloft the face while also having a shallow angle of attack that it allowed him to hit the ball the way he wanted to. I think the bowing of the wrist is a totally separate issue. I think Dustin may have figured out at an early age to palmar extend the right wrist and that this motion would aid in hitting the ball the way he wanted to. I don't think he has much to do to square the face and that's one of the reasons why he's such a good ball striker. There's a reason why Tiger plays so many practice rounds with him and why he wanted to partner with him.

Nooooo .... because those pics all start at the top going into the downswing. The head stays still at the start of the downswing and he just muscles the swing through impact with a hunching back, pulling left arm and punching right arm!!!

If he doesn't sit into the swing in the downswing, and lower the elevation of his head, that will blow my "parametric-centripetal" theory out of the water .. help .. show the backswing ...!!!

THANK G_D ... he dippety-dips into his downswing thus loading his hips with extra right knee flex and more hip flex too. The hips and knees flex/unflex concomitantly ... agree counsellor?!

Love that parametric-centripetal power boost ... that straightens out the left arm and club at impact ....!!!!!

Can you post the entire swing... could be more surprises ....

Lia, I'll see what I can do about getting Dustin's MATT swing up. I want to ensure that it is ok with certain people first. Video or stills?
