Hi, I posted the earlier links. But, they weren't my videos or lines...

I've got Els book from '99 called "How to build a Classic Golf Swing" and I looked through it for any mention of an instructor. None.

For those wanting other Els videos, there are some at
http://www.golfdigest.com/login/login.ssf?/instruction/swingsequences/
http://www.golfswing.com/goodswings.htm
http://www.megspace.com/sports/moetown/videos/
http://www.progolflesson.com/pro/els.html
http://www.golftipsmag.com/content/webtips/framebyframe/index.html#
http://beauproductions.com/golfswingsws/

Sorry I don't enough about tgm to really comment. I ordered the book from Amazon last month and the order fell out as they can't get the book. So I may get if from BenDoylegolf.com at some point here.

Check out Preface (or is it Introduction?) of Lead's latest book, for one.

ragman,
the picture at the bottom of your posts.
do you use that item? does it help?
Nope, good visual on how the clubface (bat) needs to be going from open-to-square though.

I will have to teach ya'll how and where to draw the lines....
AND Els may know Leadbetter and humor him with a visit or two on his show or school. But Els is not a student of Leadbetter EVER.
He's called Leadbetter the best instructor in the world, but he isn't a student of his?

Okay...

Els is not a student of his. They are both south africians and i'm sure he supports his fellow countryman with kind words. Leadbetter never "fixed" "changed" or guided him with his swing. Lead gets more from Els then Els ever gets from him.
First, Leadbetter is not South African.

"Els is not a student of his."

Okay...I just wonder why Els mentioned that Leadbetter tightened up his swing over the years and gives him a lot of credit...

But, okay, he isn't a student of Lead...

Well after some fact checking, I found that he was born in Sussex, England, play extensively on the South African Tour. My apologies on nationality. I still feel the relationship between Leadbetter and Els is more as a friend then teacher. Lead learns from Els. Is Flick really Jacks golf instructor? Is Couples, Chi Chi or Travino really taught by David Lee? Robert Parker may be more of an instructor to Els then Lead. Rag, I like your posts, Im not trying to be confrontational.
