Has anyone ever experimented with the Back and Forth drill... but started the backswinging motion with the clubhead way forward and up plane with the hands at midbody. I tried this drill yesterday and it seemed like it made it easier to turn my right shoulder and hip more in the backswing. This really seemed to help smooth out my tensed up starting position. It also felt like it was easier to swing my left arm across my chest while getting my right shoulder/hip out of the way in the backswing.
