used it once when it first came to my club before a comp.
the heavy bar is VERY heavy. my forearms were on fire and i proceded to top my drive and it gave me so many new feelings before my round i just couldn't play well.
i guess if you use it to practice it would be pretty good though, and would help if you got under or below plane i suppose
Helps you train swinging on plane BUT can anybody tell me what plane that is?? It is not a defined plane and I don't think that even Luther himself even knows.
Well, it's what he calls "Optimum Biomechanical Plane" or so based on DaVinci's Vitruvian Man scheme, as far as I remember from his article named "Lost Fundamentals of Hogan" published in the net (http://www.golfinternationalmag.com/).
The problem is that Explanar leads your arms on one single plane, that not happens in reality, since the plane changes because of the forearm turn. IMHO, explanar can teach too-inside takeaway.
Do you have a link to that discussion? What is his reputation as a teacher? I think he is in the UK, but not sure. He has some nice photos, but did anyone else think they were posed or posed with a bit of motion for the camera?
