Face/Path/AoA

I have a few questions regarding launch monitor club data:

1. If zeroing out produces a rope straight shot, how much face to path divergence must occur before the change in ball flight is noticeable to the player.

2. What is the maximum face to path divergence allowable before the shot would be considered "bad" or miss a reasonably sized target area.

3. What capability do humans have at repeating the same face/path/AoA numbers? How many degrees would professional level ball strikers vary from shot to shot?

1 & 2. You have about two degrees total divergence to play with a short iron. Less than that up the set. A bit more in a hybrid, and the driver can be even more if it isn't a double cross.

3. Regular players can do pretty well, but the bad swing kill them. The best pros will light up the path number and have a little variance in face number from contact. When they go bad, it is almost always path.

Ken Venturi told me the first thing to go in top players is ball position, wreaking havoc with their path.
