It came right up for me. Brian, i notice a lot of the videos that you put up are quick time related. I am about as far from a computer expert as I am from a golf expert, but this video link came up in Windows media form. I dunno, do you use a mac?

That's odd, works fine for me, but I'm not an IT guy. Brian, I think you'd definitely find it an interesting article, just copy the link in your web browser and it should work. Some really good footage of Moe hitting the ball, he made it look so friggin easy.

Link didn't open for me either. However .... if you had seen Moe swinging in person, as I have on several occasions when he was still using his persimmon driver and steel shaft, you would have seen something quite amazing. Yes his drives were straight but ....

Moe had plastered the entire bottom of the driver sole with at least 1/4 inch of LEAD TAPE !!!!!!!!!

Why did he do this? Simple ... because he was limited in his ability to generate enough clubhead velocity to develop enough Kinetic Energy with the so-called Single Axis swing that he used. Moe just windmilled his arms an club around his short stout barrel-chested body and could not actuate all the Power Accumulators. He may have had only a One-Barrel swing !!!!!!!!!

By increasing the Mass of the driver clubhead he was able to proportionately increase his Kinetic Energy. Moe lost out on increasing Velocity^(squared) in the equation::

Kinetic Energy = 1/2 Mass x Velocity^(squared)

I guess Moe was trying to overcome the 1/2 Mass with the extra slug of lead tape on his driver .... lol ... !!!!!!!

We know Moe was a Swinger, and being single axis, eliminated #3 or throwout. Therefore he was a 2-barrel Swinger, using #2 and #4.

MJ, I think Moe was a pure hitter. He didn't use his lower body as a power source.
Horton, very heavy clubheads were all used by another notable ball striker. Ben Hogan.

David,

In Moe's own words, he "pulled" the club through Impact, and also said, "I have no idea what my right hand is doing". Hard to imagine a Hitter saying that.
