Did anybody see the gyroscope training aid on TGC's "Fore Inventor's Only"?
It's basically a gyroscope attached to the end of club shaft.
It caught my attention when he mentioned "the conservation of angular momentum". I'm new to TGM (just bought the book a week ago) but I wonder if this mimics the model Homer describes gives in chapter 2 principles.
The device as described by the inventor Larry Kelly, automatically taught the sensation of an on-plane swing (correct mechanics to produce the right feel). The teaching pro on the panel (don't remember his name) thought very highly of it. Judging by the positions of those using the device on the show, it looked like a great device to teach the correct geometry of the swing.
I began to think if he added the Pure Swing attachment to the butt end of the grip, you could have one heck of a swing trainer.
Here's an article on the topic:

Anybody else see it? Any thoughts?
