Brian you must mean Samuel L. Jackson.

...

.....

Anyway.....

1. Who is the best player out of those 3? What level they all play to, respectively? (if you don't mind me asking)

2. You say the guy on the far right is not as straight as the first 2? His swing to me is prolly the nicest "looking" (for what it's worth I guess) from those pics you have there.

3. The first guy a TSPer?

4. That (girl) must be your "star pupil" who hits it 280 with a Sweep Release?

5. Nice sit-down and pivots in general for all three of em.......the girl really gets "left" in the downswing......eh? ("Hoganization" PER SE)

6. The differences in "lower body action" are interesting.

...

BTW wow..........that girl sure can turn those shoulders.........wow wow wee wa. (I mean- ouch)

Also related.......I can turn my shoulders like crazy on a practice swing.....but put a ball down and I turn into Lee Trevino. (well- kind of :D)

Factors determining backswing length

Your backswing may be too long if:

  • Your grip is loose at the top.
  • Your right wrist is cocked too much at the top.
  • Your left wrist is too bent (or cupped) at the top.
  • Your Pivot Center (such as the point between your shoulders) sways a lot away from the target going back.
  • Your right shoulder goes under-plane during the downswing.
  • You're swinging too far to the right.

This is just a rough guide. For example, it is possible to swing to the left with a long backswing too. But it's just more likely to go right because your right shoulder and right hip is in a much 'deeper' position.
