First of all Episode 6 and all the other clips that were posted today... great. Really what this site needs to be. Questions and observation answered by experts rather than "lets steal pics and play golf pro" or "I studied under..... and you need to do it like this"
Past 3-4 weeks have been frustrating. Just haven't been able to get it all together. I've learned a lot, but lots of loose shots, even my bread and butter short game is off. Knowledge hasn't equaled application yet, 80-82 every round this year and it feels like 102. Anyway, pivot starts working a little bit better tonight, putter gets a little warm, a chip in and we have a little 33 for 9. So I'm at least encouraged again.
Which leads me to why I like this site. I live in a dead end town with a dead end job and will likely never have the opportunity to work with Brian or someone of his caliber in person. In fact the nearest pro (who I know of) that I'm confident REALLY knows golf. One that deals with imperatives and plays a tune that I can sing along with is 4.5 hrs away (your a great communicator NAT, love ya). Heck I can't even find someone to get my swing on tape to see if I'm doing what I think I'm doing.
But this site at least gives me the opportunity to "get inside the mind" of a world class teacher. This site for me is the next best thing to having my own personal instructor. When you got someone like Brian and staff giving a consistent message and quality instructors and AI's like Michael Jacobs and David Orr serving as checks and balances so to say. You don't need a bunch of wanna be golf pros talking crap. Like I've said big difference between opinions and observations and giving questionable instruction. You got pop instructor "opinions" ..pitch em out over the plate. Brian and the boys will knock your weak stuff right out of the park.
Whoever said "there's no such thing as a free lunch" never came to brianmanzella.com. You can get "fat" on all the stuff Brian gives you.
Thanks Again.
