Also I've heard (maybe just a rumor) that you can develop a bad elbow swinging this way. True? Thanks

If you perform the technique correctly, it is almost impossible to "develop a bad elbow". The bad elbow comes from using a 10-3-K "the bat" like stroke, and not Tomasello's pattern. I've been using his pattern/ variations of it for the last 3.7 years without any injuries. Use a vertical drop, then slap with the right forearm... Guys who try to put on the power from the top with their right forearm are foolish... I was a fool for a long time :)
The only time I ever had the ouchy elbow is when I was not allowing the club to drop before pounding with my forearm.

Hey Self, quick question. Which elbow comes into play so I can monitor it? The left or right (for a right handed golfer)? Thanks
