Grip different for irons vs woods?

Has anyone tried to get grip different for irons vs woods?
Say neutral for irons. And strong for woods
Or interlock for woods and overlap for irons

I grip neutral with the woods and strengthen it gradually down through the bag.

Just a personal preference, but it works for me.

Brian has said that he has had sucess with weak grips on the shorter clubs and getting towards a strong grip with the driver.

For me, a neutral left hand works best for all shots hit off the turf, and a slightly strong left hand works with the driver.
