Hogan was 135lbs. soaking wet...5'8" max...if he swung like Price he would have hit it Shorter than Paul Runyan and would have been a club pro in Fort Worth.

Price is a BIG CAT, 6'3" could have been an NFL Tight End with a little more weight. He swings his arms FASTER than ANYONE I HAVE EVER EVER EVER SEEN!!! & I have seen a bunch more than any tour pro.

All that and Price hit it SHORTER than Jeff Sluman at 5'7" 155....

Now I agree that Price hits it straight but he'd better...

You must be kidding.
I've stood beside Price years ago, and I was taller than him, by 1-2 inches. And I'm 6'1"

I've been following the Toy for some years now and was aware of his length, but had no idea he had THAT much clubhead speed. Thanks for the info, and I look forward to your article on him next week. Your comment on his "nasty transition" may be a clue as to why he seems to be so injury prone.

His axis tilt jumps out at you from the photos. In the view from behind, does the shaft flatten from just the clubhead dropping due to gravity, or is he torquing it down with the two middle fingers of the right hand, or something else?

I have to say that this is a fantastic forum, with pics and analysis that simply can't be found anywhere else.

Joe...drop is somewhat due to axis tilt shift on downswing.

Pixie..I stand corrected...price is 6'0"...BUT!...he is no "little guy" like a Sluman or Hogan.

Price is lump with big bones and he is strong too.

Brian,what would you've done with Price's swing?

From what i can see,he has almost too much axis tilt.Most instructors consider his excessive hip slide on the downswing as the only fault in his swing.
