Can one have impact hands at address and still do a pivot controlled takeaway with good results?

As long as the hands are passive enough to allow the pivot to engage the club, which might "undo" some of the impact hands early in the takeaway.

So I am correct to say that I have to do something during the setup routine to go from impact hands to mid body hands ( in a passive way)if I want to activate the swing with my core?
Otherwise the answer is impact hands and pivot controlled takeaway is not usually compatable?
