How important is it that the hands at the top dont seperate and must stay together tru the swing, and the reason they should or dont have to be together...thanks

No reponse why? Teacher told me that hands seperating at the finish is very bad. Hands that stay together will produce good results.

Thoughts on this ????????????????????????

Ok, I give it a go. An old term is re-gripping. That is to say, you lose your address grip at the top of the swing and re-grip it. Logically, not good because it adds a variable. Separation, whatever that really means, at the finish shouldn't be as important because the ball is long gone. However, it implies a problem with you grip technique.

I would think it should be fairly obvious that with such a small club face and a game that requires such precision that losing your grip at he top of the swing isn't good. However, I've seen some pretty good players make it work.
