Help game's gone from good to bad

I started this golf season playing very well and had visions of this being the year where it all came together. I should have known better!

It all began with the occasional pull or pull hook. Then it progressed to pulls and pull hooks being the norm. Doesn't matter what club, short iron through driver. I tried a weaker grip and ball position but nothing helped. Occasionally I'll hit it straight or even a push but the pulls and pull hooks are the norm.

I've tried going more left (I'm a righty) as well as the right shoulder to right hip pocket in the downswing. This initially helped but after a few shots the pulls returned.

Today I found the "Three Large Pieces fo BALONEY" discussion and I'm guilty of hitting the inside aft. I hit some balls today without doing this and although I still pulled the ball I didn't get any with the hook spin.

I'm now thinking I should invest in one of Brian's videos but, as there are a number of them, I don't know which one to get.

So, my questions for the board are: 1. Which video(s) do you suggest? 2. Any suggestions, drills, etc to get rid of these damn pulls?!

they are going to either point you in the direction of, confessions of a former flipper (for the pull hooks), or Never Hook Again (for the hook in general).... I own neither, but I dont have a problem with either.... Ill let someone else who has had your problems delve deeper into this.

also, as was pointed out to me, when i was going through a brief period of the pull hooks. your club face may be too closed at impact. Check where its going wrong... Mine started with the setup and was an easy fix.

XWall, for 10 bux each get them all, I did and they have ALL helped me in different ways.
Also seeing brian discuss and demonstrate the swing with various patterns gives you more insight into the swing.
They are also loaded with good drills and generally are just bloody good to watch :D

I was a flipper/OTT slicer.
I still have some OTT on occasion but during a lesson yesterday, on video compared to Aaron Baddely (yes I know, line drawing programs baloney etc etc) I was SPOT ON with my impact position, hands and arms PERFECT :D
I am striking the ball like never before.

I attribute that to Confessions of a former flipper, with a little bit of help from Soft Draw.

+1 endorsement for ALL of the vid's

*edit* Hmmm... That's a lot of "I"'s in a row, my english teacher would be most unimpressed.

Slicey, yeah the price is right and I went ahead and started with the Confessions video. OMG, I'm a flipper! This is something I have worked on before but apparently my flip creeps back in when looking for more distance on the full swing. After watching the video I'm thinking these drills should just become standard practise.

i thought the easiest way afterwatching the video is..turn your left elbow close to your ribcage. That was really helpful.
