If you are saying that your hips (and possibly your shoulders also?) are still closed to the target line at impact and your clubface is square to the target line, most likely then you have a classic set up for a draw. However, a slightly closed to the target line clubface, together with your closed posture, will cause you to hook the bejesus out of it.quote:Originally posted by rustyself
ok, hit 7 bags this morning, 350 balls, still hooks. got out of it for about 10 balls, i THINK by opening my hips before swinging down with my arms.
does that make sense? if my hips stay closed and dont open at or shortly before impact, would this cause my problem? the only reason im asking is that it was during my last bag of balls that i discovered this, and i was just too darn tired to go back and get another bag.
something else that MAY help: i have NEVER, in the last 3 years, had a problem with blisters. now, my right ring finger is EAT UP with them....
guys, i SURE DO appreciate you hanging in there with me thru this!
With what you are describing you might just find that aiming out to the right (and not directly at the target) will get you a nice little draw.
