Help Me! Left Wrist at Impact/Separation, and the "swivel"

I have a square or closed clubface all the way from the top, so at separation I hold my left wrist (too much) and not really "swivel", I feel that if I roll my left wrist it's going to close the clubface during Impact/separation... hello Pull/Hook!

Here is my Swing Video -

Is it a mechanical thing or just mentally? Why am I not able to get this Horizonal Hinge especially with my driver,
where I need to fully uncock and roll the Left Wrist the most!

Look at my LEFT WRIST at Impact\separation and after, it almost reverse roll! ala Zack Johnson (almost vertical hinged)

I'm tired from this Angled hinge with the driver, it feels unnatural holding the left wrist.

It's almost feel like a flip...

Thank you

Yikes!!

Your grip is WAY TOO STRONG.

Using the check procedure in my grip article, start weaking it in 10° increments and somewhere more weak than this you will be able to look and swing the way your wish!

Is it just me or is he re-gripping it somewhere in the swing? It doesn't look that strong at address but it is very turned at impact.

Weird.

Maybe the heel of the hand is not over the top of the grip properly at address and is re-settling on the way down?........

Learn your flying wedges and you'll be fine. If you don't know what they are get a lesson from Brian or a G.S.E.B/M/D, it will be the best money you ever spend on a golf lesson.

Open at the TOP=Square Clubface?

Fix it.

I want to see the clubface about 90° open at the top.

Thank you all for the answers.
Brian, I think you're a wizard!
Yesterday I try weaking my grip in front of a mirror, Using the check procedure in your grip article and wallaa, I got this without cupping my left wrist at the top -
Bent right wrist/Flat left wrist/Clubface Square at the top

What do you think about this Drill with your grip, I'll try it at the range and see if it'll let me use a horizontal hinge with my DRIVER

One more little thing, Do you remember this topic:
Is it shut or not? (Manzellacam)

Well, blehnhard, Senior Member gave a great explanation for this -
You all are missing the point - at address, the club face is 90* to the plane line (Actually it's Plane angle, blue line). At the top, it is 45* to the plane line(angle). Therefore it has opened 45*. It is only 'closed' using current common golf terminology (correct or not). One would only have to work 'half as hard' to square off at separation from the position in the picture as some one whose clubface lies parallel to the plane angle (90* open).

Could be seen as a matter of semantics, but the club has opened 45* to the plane angle.

I know for myself, I have always been concerned that I was a little 'closed' at the top and kept trying to get the clubface on the plane angle. Hell with it - take it back to a position where you feel comfortable in bringing the club down plane and beat the s**t out or it.

So when you say that you want to see the clubface about 90° open at the top do you mean pop golf like open or open by your definition which is "closed".
The way I see it if the clubhead's toe is pointing down it is "open"(pop golf).
If the clubface is facing the sky it is "closed"(pop golf)
When the Clubface Square it's parallel to the flat left wrist and the Plane Angle like this -

The way I understand this is simple, if I have a bunker shot, I'll open my clubface at address and when I get to the top my toe is pointing down, meaning it's still "open"(pop golf).

The only reason I'm using the pop golf definition describing clubface condition at top is because I didn't quite figured out what brian means by 90* open so I'm using pictures or what ever I can, for me it's more simple...

Here stenson opens his clubface at address, when he gets to the top, the toe of his clubhead is pointing down to the ground -

English Language STRAIGHT DOPE!

I want you to be like Tiger and VJ.

Whatever you want to call it, is fine with me.

What it is is orthodox.

(But for clarity, it is about 90° open to the plane. Most POP teacher call it "square." I call it this myself, when the student needs to hear those words.;) )
