Dariusz, as sincere as I know how to be with a keyboard, offending you was never the intention. Given your affinity for the Hogan era, I thought you would get the biggest kick out of it (see what happens when I think ).

I agree that Spmurph's post was not funny either. When a guy from New Jersey shows you a human bone, be afraid. :)

It's OK, Mike. We Poles are often stupid but never bear a grudge long -- no matter if it was a reason to bear it or not.

Still don't know what the bone means...maybe suggesting I am a bonehead ? LOL.

Cheers

The bone (the humerus) was meant to be funny as in humor.. I must confess I did laugh out loud when I saw the post.

Dariusz,

What did you think of the Vince Carter dunk in Lia's post? #33.

I don't know, I do not know much about basketball. Seems as a great action and certainly overhuman athleticism of the jumper.

OK, but what is so funny in presenting a picture of a bone ? I can see why Mike's original post was sort of funny - he presented a crappy action of yesteryear suggesting that I would say it's better/purer than today's athletic actions. But a picture of bone ? Beats me.

Cheers

Dariusz, Now I'm really laughing after reading your wording. It's all in good fun. It always obvious who's really a jerk or not. They usually don't hang out around here very long.

Dari,
I swear to God before I die I have to come and hang out with you in Lodz. You are magnificent...
I'll let spmurph enlighten you further on the bone

Why does this image come to mind when I picture you and Dari out clubbing?

Growing up on Cape Cod MA. basketball was huge in the 1960's and 70's. Loved the Celtics, but Pete Maravich was my favorite basketball player. Got his autograph when he came to Boston with the Atlanta Hawks in his first year in the NBA (1970). I believe his NCAA scoring record still stands despite not being able to play varsity as a freshmen and with no three point line. Tragic that he died so young.
