wedding ring up with a fade, i remember when people some people said you couldn't do it *rolls eyes*

Oh ya, and it helps a ton to swing left.

Jonny, I went through much of the same swing changes as you, but it seems it took you less time. That is awesome. I have only begun to really incorporate most of the information I have read here in the last couple of years--it is tough to break old habits.

Well, I'm having trouble taking some of my changes from the range to the course. I'm releasing it well, but I'm struggling terribly with underplane issues. Hitting it nice and straight at the range. On course big hooks with driver, and fat and thin pushes and hooks with my irons. So frustrating. Most of the courses I play don't have a range either, so there's not really a chance to warm up. This game... Just when I think I've got something figured out the golf god's put me in my place.

Johnny,

Everyone has trouble taking their swing from the range to the course. Everybody. I've seen Tiger nearly hit every flag on the range for an hour and then not find the course with a single swing. When he finished he said that he hit it ok, just didn't make any putts. Its just a different mindset with those guys. We EXPECT to play well and take it to the course, they roll with the punches. Enjoy the process and learn your misses. Overdo your corrections. Watch guys like Graeme McDowell (who also fights underplane issues) practice. Every swing he makes is an exaggeration, over the top move (a la Corey Pavin) even though his swing looks nothing like that. He's hoping to be somewhere in the middle. If you are hitting it good on the range, you are half way there.

If that doesn't work, you've always got the O's, Strohs and Natty Boh's hun.

Thanks, ekennedy. I'll keep what you said in mind.

The Strohs, and Boh's might help ease the pain. I don't know about the O's though. Sitting in their usual spot below .500 at the bottom of the AL East.
