I know a lot of the first members came to this site from FGI but there is no direct link from that site to here . There are now over 700 members. How did the new ones find out about this website?

I found this forum, because you told me about it Hue :D

A fair while back on GO, you told me about Brian's drill (chip -> pitch -> full swing) and a link to this forum.

I have registed about 6 times on this forum. Everytime I delete my temporary internet information, I have to create a new account since I don't remember my password.

Followed Brian from every forum he was kicked out of by over zealous moderaters. If you can't join them, be one. Nice digs here though.

geez does anyone even read fgi or (gulp) GO anymore? yawn to both

Like plenty of others, I followed Brian from FGI over to here. Someone posted the link when everyone started to ask if Brian had a forum organised yet.

You got that right 6bee, FGI has gone bad big time! [xx(]

Well, over on FGI I came into it in mid or late stream. I have to admit that at first, I thought Brian was the bad guy in the whole affair. But, fortunately for me, I saw enough in his posts to stay interested and decided to come over here. I quickly figured out what went down over there and figured out that Brian is simply driven to be the best. Cant fault a person for that at all. He just has a way of explaining things where I can understand them. I could care less if he ever has an original thought. He is the first instructor that has ever been able to help me see the light when it comes to the golf swing. Best part of it is, it's free! But, next Summer I plan on traveling to the Louisville Kentucky area to visit my brother and his family. I plan on making the trip into Louisville and getting some hands on instruction from Brian. FGI??? Same old SMT Nemesis, swinging 140 mph, hitting it 350 yard nonsense. Talk about lack of originality???? I have never been to GO. I do go to Chuck's forum and also Golf Afficinados although it's becoming an FGI train wreck itself.

Everything Brian said WORKED. Almost nothing in 20 years of lessons and such had worked. I've learned more in 10 months from Brian and Ben Doyle via the internet and a videotape than in 20 years previous.
I came from FGI. I am eternally grateful.

ditto! I love my new swing. Since September my iron play and tee shots are a thousand times better. It works. Brian lets do an info commerical. I can see it now, "in your face straight wrist golf."

I followed Brian from FGI. Frankly, due to the contraversary over some of Brian's posts on that site, I kinda expected a trainwreck over here. To my surprise, I found a site much more dedicated to golf instruction and helping people with their golf game. I am not a devotee of TGM, but have found the articles on grip, etc., very helpful.

Thanks...

Let me just finish this thread unless anyone can correct me...

Everyone in this forum comes from another forum ...

The reason I say this is you cannot find these pages using google.... would make sence then eh !....

Eminem: The membership is increasing. FGI does not have a Manzella link. My guess is that most of the pro Brian FGI mob would have already migrated so I am curious where the new members are coming from.
