I was playing with a personal trainer the other day that said, with his kind of injury he will not be the same... and he seemed to think ever...
To quote Brian
"Baloney"
ACL reconstructions do great:
#1 If someone has an ACL reconstruction by a good surgeon- check
#2 No funky infections or "problems" in the initial stages-check (as far as we know)
#3They do their rehab and don't wimp out or decide they know best what to do- especially in the middle stages - week 6-12 (probably check)
And #4 they don't try to do too much too soon, return full force way before it's ready-check
Usually athletes do well with #1 and #2 but due to someone being out millions they go back too soon. This is also true with regular athletes who are used to pushing the envelope or get bored and do too much too soon.
Ultimately, he may get arthritis in the knee more quickly than he would have which may affect his infrequent appearances on the Senior Tour.
So unless the media has been blacked out in regards to any problems then I look for him to be dominant.
