1) Open the face*
2) Open your stance to have the now open face, facing your target
3) Play a "bunker shot" out of the rough swinging along your new open plane line
*Note you can do this 2 ways:
1) Tour way = open the face then take your grip. You're gonna have to roll the face through impact though
2) Brian's way = take your grip and rotate the face open. Now all you have to worry about is the wrist's cocking, no rolling involved.
I prefer 2) for the majority of shots however i will employ 1) on occasion.
Remember that every degree you open the club isn't a full 1*, it's more around .5-.6* of a degree. Last, you can vary the hinge action for different ball trajectories. Use only angled or vertical.
