2. Ball speed = 161.3
3. Attack angle = 1.6
4. Club Path = 2.3
5. Vert swing plane = 36.2
6. Horiz swing plane = 4.6
7. Dyn Loft = 9.1
8. Face angle = -2.5
9. Smash factor = 1.48
10. Vert. angle = 7.5
11. Horiz angle = -1.5
12. Spin rate = 3070
13. Spin axis = -25.5

You need to find a way to keep that clubface open at impact - is your driver hook faced - have you tried a driver with an open face??

No I haven't.

But what if I teed the ball up higher and placed it further in front and hit up on it more? Would that positive increase in AoA counteract closed clubface?

For any of you guys out there that give TM lessons, do you make sure that the student is lined up parallel to the target line.

Reason I ask is that I tend to line up to the right and when I took the lesson, we did not tinker around with alignment. So if I was getting an in-to-out reading on path, perhaps my results are scewed.

input?

Darby,

In my opinion, you DO NOT try to get the student to "line up" to the TrackMan to get the initial numbers.

Changing the golfer's alignment should ONLY happen if that is considered carefully, as per the student's & teacher's DESIRED numbers, IF those numbers are different.

Trackman session

Brian,
I have a trackman session scheduled for next weekend. What should i be looking to achieve with this session? I have been taking in a lot of the info from the site , reading trackman , reading the Physics of golf and working on my D-plane. So when I start the trackman portion of the swing analysis what should i be looking for so that i can benefit from it? From my understaning where i am doing the session has 3 parts to it.... Swing analysis like in the Physics of golf book where i will have strobes on my body looking at how my swing works and the kinetic chain, then how my clubs effect my ball flight ( they will go through my bag and test ( feqs, lies, lofts and such)). Then the Trackman portion out on the range or in some bay. Brian tell me how i should utilize this info.
