IATR: Hybrids and fairway woods Rx

If you currently aren't happy with how well you are striking your hybrids and fairway woods, que up IATR and give it your full attention before going to your next range session / round warmup.

At the range, apply Brian's advice re: soft arms, back to the target and aggressively going normal (left shoulder going up, pulling grip apart with left hand pulling up and right hand pushing down and through the ball). Enjoy the smiles from solid shots.

As Gentle Ben famously put it, "That's all I'm gonna say."

Why did you single out hybrids and fw woods? Why not irons?? thx
Because I had not been happy with my ability to hit higher fairway wood/hybrid shots needed to hold on small, elevated greens. IATR - Ideas About the Release - really helps me with shot height. Had two eagle putts Sunday thanks to pulling the grip apart and ripping the cover off the mofo. :)
