When I'm in town to see Brian, I stay at the I-265 Hampton Inn (I-265 and Westport Road). Probably 5-6 miles from the course. Lots of restaurants and stores......very convenient.

Hurstbourne Lane is the best area to find a hotel (only a few miles away from Valhalla). There are quite a few on this road.
I got picked in the random drawing. I get 2 tickets for the Saturday matches. That one hour drive down to Louisville will be brutal though.
I was very disappointed in the Ryder Cup in the K Club. Except on Sunday you will have 50,000 people trying to watch 4 groups. It is very difficult to see anything at all.

My wife Lisa and I went to Oakland Hills for the last Ryder Cup on US soil.
We had a great time, it is WAY BETTER in every way trhan a regular PGA TOur event or a Major.
Buy a periscope. Buy one of those radios woth the headphones that tunes into the coverage. You'll love it.
I will probably have some sort of MANZELLA ACADEMY school held in just before the event. My facility, Different Strokes at English Springs, is located about a mile from Valhalla.
