I think we covered this in fine detail a few months ago...If I remember correctly, one of the conclusions was that (no matter what the physics are) attempting/intending to resist impact deceleration has the knock-on of creating slightly more clubhead speed...a swing dynamics thing perhaps?....

Lag Pressure is high on the list.

But, what I learned a s teacher was WHY I or another teacher CAN GET a golfer to look like Mark James.

The trick is knowing when NOT to use it.

So there are times when you would ease off on lag pressure? More of a throw feel?
