Initiating the backswing? Help...

I am fairly new to the forum and can't get enough of it! I have learned so much about the golf swing and my swing (still need to read TGM though). And I don't think I will ever stop learning...by the way Brian your youtube videos are fantastic.

The question I had is what is the proper way(s) to iniate the backswing. I just recently started taking lessons and have improved my fundamentals but still have great ballstriking days and some not so great ball striking days. I feel as though my problem lies in my backswing (it's too quick) and have a tough time taking it back without using my hand too much (or at least it feels that way). I am trying to use my pivot more to take the club back but are there sensations or drill to help with this? The feeling I have the most success with when taking the club back (and swinging thru) is to have pressure in both armpits to feel more connected. In addition I have a hard time feeling connected in my backswing after I waggle and forward press.....I feel I have a more connected backswing after waggling w/o the forward press. How does pressure points relate to my question?

Here is my current golf swing if it helps (click on my profile to see my older golf swings and the evolution):

Also recently my tendency has been to be underplane and hit hooks/pull hooks...and fyi I did buy Brian's NHA. I know this was a big long but I wanted to be thorough. Any feedback, thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
