Inside Aft of the ball

I've never read TGM, but have read the phrase "hit the inside aft of the ball" numerous times.

I know this is going to seem like a stupid question, but where exactly is that? Please don't laugh or reply with an insult.

If I'm addressing the ball and the part of the ball closest to my toe line is 6:00 and the part of the ball farthest from my toe line it 12:00 is the inside aft somewhere between 4:00 and 5:00?

Yes. And to hit that part of the ball you have to do some wonderful things. I'm sure you could hit the inside aft with a glancing blow from a throwaway clubhead, but that’s not a golf shot. In order to hit inside aft, the hands must stay ahead of the clubhead, and the hands must past the ball first to reach the inside aft.

Ben said the keep an eye on the inside aft of the ball. Once I did that and figured how to get the club there, my swing and game reach two higher levels – extreme clubhead speed and lower scores.

Where on the inside corner we end up hitting the ball is not necessarily exactly where we TRY to hit it. I try to hit it at about 4 O'Clock, but know from the flight that I hit it a bit after 3. If I tried to hit it at 3:05, I'd hit it at 3, or maybe even 2:55.
