inside-out cut shot therapy

Let's say you have me on the range, and start giving me ball-flight requests. You say, "let me see a low runnning draw." With a smug smile on my face, I will dazzle you. You say "give me a sky hook", I quietly smile again and up and over she goes. You then tell me, "let me see a little low flying Trevino fade" and I am terrorized. I may, may be able to hit a high throwaway fade, weak and pitiful, but a compressioned low fade is not within my grasp at the moment. Help. thanks to all.

everyone has a natural shot shape....go with it. Do your best to learn a fade but only use it on the course when the risk/reward is worth it. I can fade the ball at will however a draw is harder for me to hit. I tend to play the straight ball but when the pressure is on the fade comes out.

A very young Tiger Woods was challenged by his dad to hit the highest hook he possibly could, then the lowest hook he could. Then hit the highest fade he possibly could, then the lowest fade possible. On second thought, maybe not a good prescription cause Tiger does all 4 shots now on just one par 5.

Put that ball back in your stance and hit the inside part of the ball with the heel side of the clubface.. Don't let your forearms rotate, and try to finish with the clubhead above your hands.. Tiger'esque finish. I can hit 100 yard low cut's with that baby.

Digger,
In order to play the low fade, whether hitting or manipulative swinging, rotate your grip to the left , adjust your plane line to the left, move the ball forward, contact the inside aft quadrant of the ball, angle hinge...the lower the desired trajectory, the farther forward the aiming point.
