Based on how far off the ground the ball is and the fact that the club looks like a 6 or 5 iron: YES. Unless he thinned it.

Agreed that we'd need to see impact to be sure though.

I was thinking chunky as well, since the ball is not very far from the ground strike.

Yeah, something is definitely wrong with that picture. The ball is far too low to the ground and close to the clubface, given the distance between the start of the divot and the current position of the clubhead. Taht is, by now the ball should be long gone and much higher.

I think this is video of a mis-hit, and therefore probably not a good one to diagnose for shaft lean. Personally, I have rarely ever seen any but the very best players who were good enough to have the "problem" of too much shaft lean. At least from this one shot, I'm not sure that this golfer should be worrying about shaft lean.

I think the left arm is a bit too far off the body. It looks like an exaggerated attempt at maintaining a flat left wrist at impact to me.
